Auto Parts: keys, citroen saxo, hi matthew

Question
Hi, i went to the beach the other day and lost my keys there. Unfortunately they were my only pair. How do i go about getting new keys that will work with my car? I have a Citroen Saxo, 1997.

Answer
Hi Matthew,

If you still have the original owners manual, you may still have the knock-outs from your original keys that you can take to any locksmith to have new keys made. If that is not an option, remove the RIGHT (passenger-side) door lock cylinder and take THAT to a local locksmith. The key-code numbers will be stamped on that cylinder for both the doors and ignition as well as the valet-key code.

Thanks for the question, I hope this information was helpful to you.
