Auto Parts: OIL FILTER, s10 blazer, ford custom

I recently purchased a 1949 Ford Custom with a V-8 flathead. The engine does not have a oil filter installed. There is no provisions for a filter. I would like to know where I might find the canister and all hook up parts associated with it. Thanks

Hi Clifton,

You mean OEM or a 'retro-fit'?

OEM I have no clue.

However, if I were to ADD an oil filter to an engine/vehicle, I would probably use one of the set-ups on mid '90's s10-Blazer's and s15-Jimmy's with the 4.3L engines. I'm sure it can easily be modified to attach to your engine.
