Auto Parts: wheels, rally wheels, rally style

well there wasnt really a specific area for wheels so hopefully you can help me out. i have a 72 malibu that needs wheels put on it, i dont really have the cash to buy brand new rims so i will be looking for used, but i dont have a clue what size i need and dont know where to find that info if you could help me out that would be great

Hi Kody,

The proper rims for your car will be:

14" x 6", 5-lug, 4-3/4" offset

There is a huge interchange and almost every GM vehicle produced between 1965 and 1979 used the same rim (steel). There is a Rally style wheel also fitting your year/make of vehicle but being that they are for a '72 Chevelle, be prepared to pay MORE for 'B' condition used Rally wheels than you would for a brand-new set of American Racing or some other aftermarket design.
