Auto Parts: replace composite bulb, ford f 350, silverstar bulbs

I have a 2006 Ford F-350 Diesel Crewcab.  I bought silverstar bulbs for both headlights.  How do I get at the bulbs for replacement? Also Can you recommend a Manual for my truck, I would actually prefer a manual on a disc for the computer or referral to a website that might offer same for free.  Thank you Ken.

Hi Ken,

Your owners manual will have more accurate instructions. Access to the bulbs is from behind the headlight housing, under the hood. If access cannot be achieved here, than you'll need to at least partially remove the capsule to install those bulbs. A manual? No mal-intent, but if you're having a hard time figuring out how to replace the headlight bulbs, chances are you won't be in any need of a repair manual for that vehicle. Find a reputable technician in your area (stay clear of the dealership as all they want is your money) and develop a relationship with that place and your new truck.
