Can i replace my stock 2003 530i mirror with a 2003 M5 mirror? will if fit- connections the same?

Hi Kurt,

Manufacturers do not release interchange notes for most interior parts including RVM's because it is too difficult to track interchangability due to the vast amount of options and option packages that can use those same parts. Our experience is that if it mounts and plugs in, it'll probably work fine. I would make sure the wiring colors and/or locations are identical before attempting so you do not damage another part of the electrical system.
