Car Alarms: Starter issues, pontiac grand prix, ms series

Question
I have a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix and it has an Ungo Starter Ms Series but not sure of the model as I bought the car second hand. Recently, every time I place my foot on the break the car dies. It does not want to get out of the security mode. It is pretty scary when I am driving so I stopped altogether until I get it resolved. I then noticed when I start the car, turn the ignition to on, turn it off, take out the key, the car is still running. How can I repair, if not bypass the starter or disengage the alarm all together?

Thanks

PS my car will not start unless I use the remote starter If I use the key it keeps turning over. Your help is appreciated

Answer
Remove it at this point. Don't hessitate!!

It is malfunctioning and nothing you can do at this
juncture that will eliviate the trouble short of
removal and replacement.

NO REMOTE STARTER SYSTEM SHOULD
SHUT YOU DOWN DURING DRIVING!

So it appears yours needs to be extracted
and the vehicle wiring repaired.

Best idea I can offer.
