Car Alarms: Alarm and Car Starter system problem, valet mode, dash area

Question
Car Alarms: Alarm and Car Starter system problem, valet mode, dash area
Remote Picture
Hi,
I am unable to start my car using my remote and I can't do anything with the remote anymore. When I try to start the car with the key, I can turn the key till the last step before cranking it, but when I try cranking it, it just turns and does nothing. The car won't start unless I pull out two fuses from the module under the dash. I can't find the name of the make either because it doesn't say anything on the module or on the remote.

I am guessing it is a old system because the car is a 97 Camry I got couple of years ago. Up until then, it had been working fine. One night I started the car with the remote and 10 minutes later I went out and found the car wasn't running anymore. I thought nothing of it and sat in and tried to start with the key, as soon as I did that the alarm started going off and wouldn't shut off until I pulled the fuse out. Since then I can't start my car with the key when I put the fuses in.
On a side note, when I put the fuses in the car chirps once and lights flash 2 times and then it gives these  small clicking noises at a regular interval for few seconds and completely quiets down after. Since I don't know the make I am unable to find a solution, please help! (I have attached the picture of the remote.)
Thanks.

Answer
Ok, an installer would place the velet switch in a semi
hidden area. I'd look under the dash area
for a button or, a toggle switch. When you locate it,
turn on the ignition key, press and hold in the
button (little spring loaded micro button, red or
black possibly), until the alarm chirps 1 time.
This should over ride the system, and only the
keyless entry part, if installed, would still be
operating.

The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.=VALET/OVERIDE

This stops the alarm except for the keyless
entry if installed. Once in Valet mode,
it will allow the car to start and operate
like there was no alarm at all.

The next step is if wanting to remove it,
you contact a local technician to
locate it, and affect neccesary service
for you.

That should solve the troubles.

Let me know what you discover.
