Car Alarms: toad alarm reset/problem, toad alarm, site search engine

i have a 09 civic that was recently hit and run on the driver door.  All is fixed, however, my power locks and alarm are having problems.  Sometimes when I remote unlock from the outside and try to open the driver door, it'll lock all the doors and I'm stuck with the driver door not opened fully (meaning i have to push it to close or keep on pressing the unlock button on the remote to open).  

Also when I come to a destination and unlock the doors it'll lock all the doors within seconds (repeats if I try to unlock with remote or master lock switch) *and if the car is turned off with the key out of the ignition the doors will lock and the alarm will arm while I'm still in the car)

Maybe a reset will fix things? I'm not sure of the issue.  Hope this makes sense, sorry if there's any confusion.

The alarm is a TOAD alarm (i think, has an LED light on the steering wheel, just in front of the dash).  Not too sure of which TOAD, but I'm using the Honda key-less remote.
