Car Alarms: 1997 Buick Century Executive 3000, will not start, buick century, button works

I have a 1997 Buick century that has an executive 3000 keyless entry security system.  Car was working fine all of a sudden it will not start.  The transmitters work opening the & locking the doors, and even the panic button works, but it will not crank.  No click or noise coming from the starter.  Have diconnected the battery, have tried to jump it and still nothing.  Please help!
