Car Alarms: Car alarm wont stop, longo toyota, toyota tundra

I hope you can help.  I have been without my truck for 2 months now.  I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra purchased at Longo Toyota.  It has a Chapman car alarm.  No documentation re: the alarm came with the truck.  I put in a new battery and now the alarm goes off when I open the truck door or try to start it.  I have no idea how to get it to stop.  Help!!!
