Car Alarms: Car Alarm - In response to posted answer, valet service, car wont start

Question
I have the same problem as this with the following additions:
Question
i have a carbine plus alarm and my car wont start how can i deactivate alarm system
Answer
Gotcha, let's try to put it into valet/service mode, and reset the alarm to default mode. Look under the dash area for a button or, a toggle switch. When you locate it, turn on the ignition key, press and hold in the button (little spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating. The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash should also go on solid.  At this point. the alarm would have reset. If this had a starter kill relay installed, it would now be opened, and the engine would
turn over when tried.  You would repeat these steps to go back to
user mode to see if this was corrected.

My problem:
I do not see a button. I have the toggle switch. How Do I hold down a toggle switch until the alarm chirps. It only flips back and forth. What is the option wih the toggle switch.
Also I have followed the wiring comingaway from the toggle swithc and discovered that it is not connected to anything at the other end. I have searched everywhere for the port that the wir ehas disconnected from. I cannot locate it. Any ideas where this port woudl be located? or where the wire woudl be heading to to give me an idea where to look for the spot to reconect the line?
