Car Alarms: car alarm removal, problem thanks, car alarm

I have a 72 olds delta88 conv. & the alarm the owner left own the car is giving me problems. I have to play with the ignition for the car to crank. The alarm sound is not on but you can hear it from the clicking of the relay I guess. So my question is how can I remove the alarm & start my car with no problem. Thanks for your website & really do appreciate your expertise.
