Car Alarms: Disable alarm 1994 Bronco, side kick panel, ford bronco

Question
My son is in school for Automotive Technology and has acquired a 1994 Ford Bronco as a project vehicle.  The original owner (my neighbor) cannot find keys or remotes for truck.  We drilled out and installed a new ignition switch in the truck just to get it into neutral and tow it home.  When we connect the battery the flashers come on and the dashboard light flashes theft.  When we turn the key we can hear a solenoid type sound from the passenger side under the hood but the starter won't engage.  It is interesting that there is a siren under the hood but it apparently is either disconnected or doesn't work.  Is there any way to find the alarm components and disable them permanently?  Do we need to contact a Ford dealer to find this out?  The truck is old and has 170,000 miles so theft is not a concern of ours.  My son just needs to get it running for school.

Answer

starter kill
Ok, try 2 things.
Locate the green/purple wire in the drivers side
kick panel in the harness going to the door jamb.

Ground this wire to the frame. If done, would
take out the noise generatiing and headlight flashing
OEM alarm if equipped.

The second is the after market alarm.
(the siren is the "tell" here since factory alarms do not
come with sirens.)
In this event, see the attached file and try the application.
My bet is by doing both, will allow your son to be
on his way.

Let me know what develops.
