Car Alarms: Autopage rs655, jeep cherokee classic, valet mode

Question
1999 Jeep Cherokee classic with a Autopage rs655 remote start system installed. Never had a problem till today. Lights used to flash when locked/unlocked, and come on when started with the pushbutton. It still works fine other than the light problem. The lights are nice, as I get up at am to go to work, and they light up my path. The lights work just fine with the switches inside.

Answer
2 ideas pop up...

1. the inline fuse on the parking light flash wire on the
alarm is blown, and needs to be replaced.
Locate coming from alarm brain (possibly a white wire.)
going to the vehicle's parking light wire.

or
2. The alarm might be in valet override, will
allow for the keyless to still operate,
but nothing else, including the flashing parking
light confirmation.

if this sounds right, try this.
Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, press and hold in the valet/overide
button, found under the dash area, usually to the
left of the leg drilled into a hidden away spot,
until the installed LED (the blinking light)
in your dash area goes off, and the siren chirps twice.
(Your valet switch might be the toggle (on/off) type.
in this case, key on, flip switch in oposite direction,
key off.)

This should reset the alarm.
The chirps and flashing lights would return.

Just Repeat these steps to place it
back to valet mode.

That should do it.
Let me know what you discover.
