Car Alarms: compustar problems, compustar alarm, alarm starter

Hello I am installing a compustar alarm/starter in my 04 sierra everything works except for the start function I have tested the starter output wire from the brain and it is not giving any power when you try to remote start it. I tried to remote start it and then use a jumper to supply the power to the start wire, then it cranks but wont start, any Idea what could be wrong here. I am using an idatalink ADS-DLSL GM1 bypass module.
