Car Alarms: checkmate model kd 452, hyundai elantra, door locks

Question
I just purchased a 2009 Hyundai elantra touring, it came with a keyless entry with alarm and i asked to have them install the auto start. they installed the checkmate kd452. I now have two remotes. one for the alarm and the other for the autostart.  I have had autostart remotes installed in the past on other models and they have always combined them into one, is this possible with the checkmate?

Answer
It should be included in the Checkmate wiring.
Sounds lazy. Sounds like whomever sold it to you
chose the wrong installler if he left it with
2 seperate remotes.

I'd run it up to another car alarm installer
locally, have it evaluated, then do the
keyless entry from the Checkmate to control
the door locks and the alarm together.

Good luck.
