Car Alarms: Uninstalling a Prestige alarm, prestige alarm, wire colors

I purchased a prestige alarm system on my 1989 240 Volvo in 1991.  I have had the valet switch turned off for about 5 years.  Now the switch seems to be causing problems with the starter switch.  My husband would like to uninstall it.  But we do not have any wiring diagrams.  The valet switch is in the truck of the car.

Sometimes when I try to start the car, I have to switch the valet switch off and on to get the car to start.  Now my husband has put a switch under the hood so that I can turn the car on.  But it is very inconvenient in the rain.  Please advise where we may be able to locate a wiring diagram for this type installation.
