Car Alarms: reset car alarm, car alarm installation, alarmtek

i have a 1998 ford ranger 2 wheel dr. it has an after market car alarm on it. i bought it from a friend. the module was not plugged in, so the keyless entry did not work. so i plugged it in replaced the fuses. now the park lights just flash. can it be reset so it will work if so do you know how. alarm model is jbs technologies RS 62
