Car Alarms: Autopage Remote Start RS-725 LCD wont stop going off, honda accord coupe, car alarm installation

Hi, I currently have an 2002 Honda Accord Coupe SE and I've had the remote start on there for about 1.5 years. This morning the alarm was working fine, however all of a sudden this afternoon it started going off (flashing lights and honking horn)pressing the red valet button would not turn it off. It would eventually go off about 5 minutes later, however anytime I open the doors it starts again. I tried disconnecting the siren for the alarm, but the horn kept honking. I have now disconnected my horn, however the lights continue to flash so I have now disconnected my battery cables. I just moved to the UK and the majority of mechanics here have no experience with US spec cars. Do you have any idea what could be going on?
