Car Alarms: remote starter wont start, remote starter, service mode

Question
My remote starter won't start my truck,the starter in the truck went bad and I tried starting it with the remote,and will not work.It worked fine before I replace the starter,did I do something to the unit tiring to start it when the starter was bad?  or is there a reset on the unit.The lights come on like it's going to start but nothing happens.The door locks still work also.What do I do.Thank you in advance.

It may need to have the bypass module reset if using
one. But it sounds as if it may be in service mode.
Look in the manual for the programming of the unit.

Specifically going in and out of valet/override mode.

Try the restting info given and see what happens.
