Car Alarms: alarm, automatic transmissions, scytek

i have a 2003 ford ranger manual transmission and i have a scytek 5100 rs car alarm a tech is trying to install,but not getting the remote start to work.

Answer
If the 5100 is NOT for manual transmission, then you have
the wrong one. The regular 5100 does not have the protocol
needed to allow a manual trans to start, so it will not operate.

Contact your seller or call Scytek
for replacement cost & information if yours is
indeed for automatic transmissions only.
