Car Alarms: HONDA ACCORD 98 REMOTE STARTER, honda accord, remote starter

Question
i have successfully installed an auto command starter and it will start when the key is in the ignition.
Now key out and it wont bbbut i only have the original key.
question is Do i need an ignition key to program the bypass kit or can i use the original? i dont want to erase the programmed key and tow it to the dealer.

This car needs the IM05- Immobilizer bypass - Programmable Platform #05: Transponder Override Interface with Firmware: PKH2 1.00
to affect the proper bypass. It requires you program the module
using the key, but you do not loose it to the module. 69.95

This will solve your issue.
