Car Alarms: astra 600 car alarm, brain box, car alarm

up until a week ago my asta unit was working fine- now I cannot get it to do anything- no noise- no unlocking -nothing- I checked the three fuses and they are good. I checked voltage to the red wire at the module and it is hot. But still nothing- Any idea what to do now?

Pull the brain box.
It sounds like a circuit board
may have fried. Smell it for burns.

Then if still warrantied, send it back for
repair/replacement. If not, get a new unit.

I don't normally stock that model, but they are always
available for purchase is needed. It sells as a whole
kit unfortunately, not seperate componants.

Short of that (pardon the pun) I don't
have anything else without first hand inspection.
