Car Alarms: Replacement remote wont program, fcc id number, joe cassidy

Question
I have a motor home with a Crimestopper Gargoyle alarm system.  I think the model is a CS-2001 FC.  My wife's purse was stolen recently, and in it was one of the remotes for this unit.  I found and bought a replacement carrying the same FCC ID number (J5523518T1) as the one I still have, but I cannot get this one to communicate with the "brain".  The only difference between the two remotes is that my original one has a green LED and the replacement has a red one.  When I follow the reprogramming steps in my manual, I can reprogram the original, but not the replacement.  I have already contacted Crimestopper and they have been no help.  Do you have any ideas?
Thanks,
DRJ

Answer
THIS IS AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE TO YOUR INQUIRY
ABOUT "PROGRAMMING" TRANSMITTERS.

As it said clearly on the website:

"PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!
I do not provide remote transmitter
programming information here!"

Unfortunately, you must have missed the
note I left at ALLEXPERTS.com .

I will double check to make sure the
note is still there or, needs to be enlarged
so my visitors will, ya know,
actually read it.

So, if I am mistaken, my sincere apollogies.

If not, that situation has not changed.
I still do not provide replacement remote
sales, service, or programming of any systems
I do not sell here in my stores.
