Car Alarms: VisionGuard 8000 Flash will not turn off!!!, open circuits, battery terminal

Question

I purchased a VisionGuard 8000 about 2 months ago and it is wonderful.  However a couple of weeks ago I noticed that my car battery was discharged.  I jump started the car and it ran great again but a several days later the car battery was dead again. One evening I took the car out for a spin since it is in the garage all the time but as I approached the car I noticed that the flash of the camera was on.  I have tried repeatedly to reset the system to the system defaults. Disconnected the battery terminal, unplugged the camera wire and plugged it back in but the darn flash remains on!

Can anybody help?

Thank you.

Answer
It's best to re check all hot connections under the dash, and
any relays installed for "frozen" open circuits. It's possible
one of these points could be the trouble.

Also have the battery and alternator checked, cables etc... to make
sure all things are to specification. It seems like these connections
could be part of the trouble here as well.

I hope this helps to track down the troublesome draining
issues.
