Car Alarms: Toyota Truck wont start, fuse box, dash lights

I have a 1997 Toyota 4R that was running when I parked it 5 months ago - recently went to start it and nothing happens - the headlights/break lights come on, but nothing on the inside - no horn,dash lights, no ignition. WE bought a new battery - still nothing. The truck has an alarm and when you open the doors it would chirp but doesn't go off. We do not have the alrm remote for it.  So after looking on your website I used the toggle button and turned off the alarm - the LED light is off now - still now start. - any ideas?

I'd have the inline fuses on the alarm checked, as well
as the car's own fuse box and charging system.
By replacing the battery, you could have surged
and blown a fuse or 2.

Go in there and have it checked out
to see why the power distribution is not
working properly.
