Car Alarms: 96 honda accord, honda accords, car wont start

question 1. Did 96 honda accords come with alarms?
question 2. My car wont start now. Two days ago, when trying to start my car, it started to make a "jer-jer" noise. It sounded like it wanted to start but didn't. Then my car alarm that i didnt know it had went off!!!! I disconnected the battery thinking it would reset the alarm but didnt work. I had to clip the wire to the alarm horn. Now my car is lifeless.  Do anyone think its the alarm? Do you think its the alternater? Maybe the sparks in the ignition aren't working? Please give me some thoughts on this matter, thank you

There was a limited security system, but
it's more likely that the trouble
is the alternator/battery-charging system.
Have it inspected immediately.

I suggest you start there to bring
all back up to snuff. Then if
an alarm becomes a problem, see
valet overide in some of the last postings
to control and defeat it.
