Car Alarms: alarm, pontiac bonneville, courtesy light

Question
i just finished putting a alarm and remote starter in my car its a pontiac bonneville 99 i only have one problem the negative door input from the remote start is the wire that makes the alarm sets on when any door is open in the car the wires that are supposed to be connected are  tan (-) and dark blue (-) but the only dark blue i found is positive can i use the courtesy light wire. white (-) wire also located at multi function alarm, lock & lighting module can i use this one to make the car's alarm work on the doors? please reply to me as soon as you can.

Answer
DEI lists:

PONTIAC, BONNEVILLE, 1999, Door Trigger

The tan is found in the drivers door harness and catches the drivers door only. The dark blue is found low in the drivers kick panel and catches all of the other doors.

If you found a wire that goes to ground when the dome light is on, and does not pulse when the BCM shuts down then yes, you can use it.

DEI also lists a light green/black wire that you could use, it is a negative trigger located at the BCM.
