Car Alarms: car wont start,, gm passlock, alarmtek

Hi,
I have a 1998 olds intrigue with an automate alarm installed aftermarket It has starter kill. Was installed by a shop that went out of business 5 yrs ago. Receintly the car has had an issue of not starting. I would disconnect the battery and reset it and all is ok. yesterday, with a fully charged bat, the car would not start. I am trying to unhook the alarm and starter kill. so far I have unhooked the main unit and all 6 wires connected to it that I can find. Car still wont start and interior lights wont shut off!  Am I missing the kill switch itself, Can you help? Can I speak to you in person?

You Can call at 813 600-3479 this evening if you wish.
But starter kill would be redundent in this car.
It already has the GM passlock II immobilizor system in it.
So an aftermarket starter kill relay is not
likely to be in the ignition switch harness assembly.

If PASSLOCK II is giving you trouble, that's another
can of worms entirely. If it's a passlock issue here,
you need to go to GM to reset it. I know
that's not what you wanted to hear, but it's
more then likely your issue, not the Automate.
