Car Alarms: 91 Acura 4 Door Alarm Disable, hood latch, acura legend

Question
Thank you very much for the info. I'm not much of a mechanic. behind the driver's side rear seat there's some type of amp, i assuming for the sound system the former owner put in. When you say the left rear seat, are you meaning the passenger's side rear seat? I'm also from TN if that tells you anything about my ignorance in these matters. LOL When you say splice into it, do you mean strip wire back and attach another wire going to chassis..does that mean to not cut the wire in half then attach? Thanks so much for the information. If I decide to just put an aftermarket alarm/keyless entry, is that something I can do?

-----Question-----
I wanted to know my choices on how to disable this alarm. I wanted to know a method or if I need to just put an aftermarket alarm/keyfob device in it. I'm about done spending money on this car if you know what I mean. I read the paperclip trick somewhere on the web, but I'm unable to disconnect the plug. Perhaps I'm ignorant on how to undo these plugs( it's pretty tight behind the hood latch) I do see the wires, so is it a bad idea for me to cut them and connect them together to cause the circuit to think the hood is always opened? I also read about another year Acura Legend about behind the passenger rear seat, for some type of modulator, but all I see is a tightly bound group of wires.Any help would be appreciated.
-----Answer-----
Ok, assuming it's the Legend, since the integra
does not have an OEM alarm for 1991, locate the
security module under the drivers
front seat on the 2 dr, and it is in the trunk
behind the left rear seat on the 4dr.

Going to it will be a GREEN/RED wire.
Splice into it, and ground to the chassis to
permanantly disable it, or use an aftermarket
keyless & or can alarm/remote starter to momentarilly
bypass it while the aftermarket device does it's thing.

In choosing this method, you can retain the
OEM and use in unison with an aftermarket.

That's what I can tell you on this car.

Be well.

When you say the left rear seat, are you meaning the passenger's side rear seat?<<<NO THE ACTUAL UNDERPART OF THE REAR SEAT, REMOVE FROM THE FRAME TO WORK ON THE OEM ALARM/KEYLESS I'm also from TN if that tells you anything about my ignorance in these matters. LOL When you say splice into it, do you mean strip wire back and attach another wire going to chassis..does that mean to not cut the wire in half then attach?<<<<CORRECT NO CUTTING! JUST STRIP BACK SOME OF THE VINAL COVERING ON THE WIRE, ATTATCH A GROUND WIRE TO IT, TAPE OFF, AND THAT'S THAT! Thanks so much for the information. If I decide to just put an aftermarket alarm/keyless entry, is that something I can do?<<<ABSOLUTELY. I ENCOURAGE BACKYARD INSTALLERS TO ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST, AND IF PURCHASED IN MY STORE, I PROVIDE THE OVER THE SHOULDER TECH SUPPORT WE ARE FAMOUS FOR! SO NO WORRIES THERE.
