Car Alarms: EZ Start - remote car starter, exact model number, remote car starter

Question
I recently purchased a car with the EZ Start car starter.  It worked when i purchased the car, but does not anymore.  Now when I push the button to start it I can hear it click in the car, but it won't start the car.  I don't think it's the batteries, because I hear the connection with the vehicle when it clicks on the dash and the parking lights flash on and off.
I was told that maybe it has to be reprogrammed.  Is that a possibility and if so, where do I find that information? How do I reprogram it?  The name brand on the remote is EZ Start.

Answer
I would tend to agree that it does need to be reprogrammed, but I cannot find any definitive answers on the EZ Start brand name.  I have found that crimestopper makes an ezee start labeled starter, but nothing that would say this is the actual brand.

If possible, try to get the exact model number and do a google search for that number.  Most systems have the number on the exterior of brain itself, and these are normally mounted under the driver's side dash.
