Car Alarms: remote starter/alarm for Civic2006, honda civic 2006, remote starters

Question
HI,
Thanks for your response.  Its an automatic transmission. I would like a normal range remote just to start the car in the parking lot to warm up during winter days and to have a security system as well with it. I don't know what 2-way paging remote does; just one to start the unit with ability to say how long should it run to warm up.  Thanks again for your time,
Raam.

-----Question-----
Hi,
Whats the best remote starter that would work with Honda Civic 2006 model. I read that these later models have a different start system that may not work with conventional remote starters. I am a newbie to this, so would appreciate your time and help very much.  Thanks,
Raam.

I have several in mind actually, and no problem
in the 06 Civic. You have a transponder in the
ignition that prevents anyone from driving
or even starting it without the propper code
key. I have bypasses that address this issue.
No problem there.

As far as which model I'd suggest, that depends on your
desired features and functions.

Automatic or manual trans?
Want 2 way paging and long range?
Want to use your own remote to
control a remote start slave unit?
Do you want to also have a built in
security system?

Give me some more imput please
so I can better advise you.

Answer
Raam,
The 2 best systems I have are only 89.95 right now to fit your requirements.

The Galaxy 5000 rs and the Micro 2003c.
Both are top notch and both fairly easy to install.

You will need a transmod bypass for the imobilizer in the ignition column.

This either requires a spare code key(25.00)
or 63.00 for the keyless module. (suggested)

I think you'd like this one for your needs.

If you like, I can take your order
at 813 963-3012.

Be well.
