Car Alarms: problem in programming a new lcd pager with astra 777, programming mode, remote starter

I bought astra 777 from your store a few months ago and for some reason the lcd paging has to be replaced. I just got a new pager exactly the same model as the original from the internet and when I tried to install it by following the manual, I can't get it to communicate with the system. I followed the instruction on turning the ignition on and off for 4 times and there was a confirmation chirp that I was in a programming mode, but when I tried to press the #1 button of the pager, it doesn't do anything and can't connect with the alarm. What is the problem please? Thanks!

If you used the valet/call button, and
there is no response when trying to program,
then you have a mismatched remote and system.

You may have the wrong transmtter there
as a replacement. I suggest you get one

that matches the system you purchased.

It seems the one you have is not on the same frequency.
This happens because you probably got the LCD remote
set up for the remote starter and then antenna
you have there will not match up.
