Car Alarms: 98 accord ex v-6 factory alarm problems, valet mode, lx models

i have a 98 honda accord with a factory anti-theft system . problem is it stopped working. i can press the button and the doors and trunk open but the alarm doesnt arm. the little red LED  light on the door doesn't go on . do you know how i can check it or reset it . thanks for the help

The factory arms and disarms with the door
locks on the EX models.

The LX models arm only with the factory transmitter.
If yours is has los programing, just take it to the local
Honda dealer, and tell them to reprogram. I don't
have that info.

If it's aftermarket, it's in valet mode.
But from the sounds of it, you are
probably dealing with the factory alar,.
