Car Alarms: DEI dual sensor, viper 771xv, shock sensor

a friend of mine installed a viper 771xv into my 02 honda accord. every thing works fine except the warn away chirp for the shock sensor and also there is no sensitivity. Ive tried to test and the only way to set off the shock sensor was to smack the bottom of the stearing wheel. I set the sensitivity on high and still no difference. the only wire that is not connected is the green wire from the sensor. I would like to know how to fix the problem. thank you

Sorry, no idea on the DEI stuff.

1 thing though, I would move it tp another location just
for grins to see if simply repositioning it will
solve this problem.
