Car Alarms: Aftermarket Alarm prevents 97 Jeep Wrangler from starting, jeep wrangler, starter wire

Question
My Wrangler has had an aftermarket (don't know the brand) alarm installed for about 7 year; two years ago it just stopped working.  Yesterday, the alarm armed itself; whenever I turn the key to the On position the alarms goes off for about 30-45 seconds then goes off.  The alarm indicator light hasn't worked for years, and I'm confused as to how to bypass this so I can at least start my Jeep to have the alarm removed.

I have found no toggle or valet switch near the passenger side, and have traced a thin red wire from the horn of the alarm under the hood into the interior of the jeep behind the dash.  Any ideas on how I can disarm the alarm; I can't find a valet switch, and am not sure where to even look.

It's a two button remote, one button has one dot, the other two.  Light works on that when either is pressed, but I am stumped.  alarm on sounds when ignition is pushed forward to ON, prior to that I have tried pressing both buttons to reset alarm with no luck.  Since I am not too familiar with alarm, I really need a layman's answer to approach this.  I need to get my car going soon; HELP!!

Answer
Ok
The valet switch (either toggle type, or spring loaded type)
would be under the dash in the plastic under panel.
There is not kick pnel to deal with here, so it's
likely you would find the overide switch put into
plastic under panels, or nead fuse boxeds etc...

If you DO find it,
Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, press and hold in the valet/overide
button, until the installed LED (the blinking light)
in your dash area goes on solid, and the siren chirps once.
(If toggle (on/off) type.
in this case, key on, flip switch
in opposite direction, key off.)

This should reset the alarm, and reset
the grounded relay on the starter wire,
allowing you to start it.

If you don't find one however, then you will need
to move on to repair and removal.

This alarm has a starter kill relay installed.
When the alarm is engaged, it sends a ground pulse
to the relay, not allowing power to get to the starter
wire. In this vehicle the starter wire in in the ignition
harness and is yellow.
Find it, cut out the relay inline, then
reattatch the 2 ends so you can ALWAYS start the
car. Next, locate the brain box of the system, unplug,
and remove. Finally, if you want to get another
system and install it yourself, let me know and we'll
get you squared away.

I hope this helps get you going.
