I Asked About What you thought about A Code-Alarm CA-640 For a 2000 Pontiac Montana Basically You said it was a headache, What would you recomend For this Montana, That has Auto Start, Door lock&Unlock And would open my power side door and be somewhat easy for a guy who understands low voltage electronics. I Have installed before but not this new a car

This is just not an easy car, regardless of what you instsall into it. The sliding doors are a real problem without a lateched relay (very expensive. stays energized for the durration or the slide, then would disengarge) and I have nothing to offer in that dept. GM is the only one that would offer it to fit this application.

But if you pass on that, I would say the the GALAXY 5000 rsw 2 way system (169.95), a 555G PASSLOCK III bypass module for the ignition column (62.50).

But again, and I can't stress this more, the Montana
and many 2000 plus GM vehicles are a royal pain
for many Pro's who do this daily. It's just not
gonna be a walk in the park to do this truck.
