Car Alarms: will this work ?, honda del sol, alarmtek

Question
I was thinking of buying the FM-870 found in commandocaralarms.com. I noticed at the end of the page it said 'Suitable for any make and model of 12-volt vehicle with fuel injection and automatic transmission '
However I want to put it on my manual trans Honda Del Sol. I assume the only reason the trans needs to be auto is b/c of the auto start, but I would feel better if I read it was alright to put in my car from and expert
is it ok ?

Answer
Good call, and no you can not safely install this
system on your car because there is no bypass
circuitry and safety is key here. You also
would completely void the warranty if installed
in your car. It says that on the box for a reason.

The better choice if paging is the big draw,
is the ASTRA 777 for 99.95 at www.CARALARMSTORE.com.
This one has longer range (3000 ft), and does not have a remote starter.

If you want something built for your car
to do remote start safely, go look at
www.startbyremote.com for manual
transmissions too.

That way you can have it all!

Have a good one.
