Car Alarms: car alarm related, side kick panel, black widow alarm

Question
I have a 1989 Silverado,it has a Black widow alarm, and also a Valet 552T remote start. It is actually two alarm systems but I only use the Valet for the remote start function.however the two are linked together and work well together.
My question is this,I would like to know if and or how I could add FLASHING HEADLIGHTS to my system? But not to flash on and off ,I would like them to flash back and forth like emergency vehicles when my alarm is set off. Is this at all possible ? Thanks for your help in advance.

Answer
Both of these systems have a regulated "pulse"
type cicuit that allows the flashing
(simultaniously) of the parking lights on any given vehicle.
To have them flash one side, and then the other, will require the same device that is installed
in police cars to do it.
Try a police accessories parts store for that. I do
not know of, or carry a device capable of it.

If you just want to pulse the lights. Both the 554T
and the BW alarm will have a white wire, fused at
10amps, to do so. Find the BROWN wire in the
drivers side kick panel, and attatch the white wires
from either system to it (1 inch appart!).
Then depending on your mood, and choice of
system to use that day, you will get the
light confirmation when either is used.

That's what I know. Try to contact the local PD and see
if they can tell your who does they're SOP's. They
should be able to lead you to the shop that does the
cruisers.

Good luck with it,
