Car Stereos: subwoofer, inch kickers, kicker subs

i have 2 12' inch kickers and i wanted to keep the stock radio in my 06' cadillac cts. what do i need to do to install it?? thanks

Hi Leon,

You won't be able to run the Kicker subs directly from the factory audio system; you'll need to use an after-market amplifier to drive them.  The amplifier can be connected to the stock system using a device called a line output converter.  This connects to the factory speaker wires; you'll probably want to connect it to the wiring that runs between the stock amplifier and subwoofer.  These wires should be accessible at the amplifier location on the left side of the trunk.
