Car Stereos: Car stereo completely shut down, fuse tester, fuse panels

Hello Justin I own a 96 sunfire and one day me and a friend got off my car to do groceries and once I came in my car the stereo is completely off. They tell me its the fuse but I already checked it and its fine what can it be? Please help need something to listen to while driving and doing errands!

It's probably still a fuse. :)

There are two fuse panels in the car.  One under the hood, and one in the passenger compartment.

Test them.  With a fuse tester or multimeter, not just by looking.  Sometimes fuses look fine but aren't.

If that fails, then you might need a new headunit.
