Car Stereos: audio for 04 expedition, wireless headphones, roadtrip

recently purchased a used 04 expedition.  wireless headphones are trashed and am hoping I can use the old "plug in" style headphones which we have for pods, mp3, etc.  the dvd system has a place to plug them in but we can't get any audio thru the "other" headphones.  any tips ... going on a 5 hour roadtrip and need to keep my sanity with the kids.

Lori, Those players are usually pretty simple.  You play the dvd and the plug should play in the headphones.  You may need to adjust the volume of the player up, but other than that they should work.  If they dont, someone probably shorted out the plug somehow.  Hope this helps, Scott
