Hello,
I own a 1997 Saturn SL2 and wish to put a Dual BP1204 12-Inch 1100-Watt Illumination Bandpass Subwoofer in the trunk. Every site gives me different dimensions for it. Do you know the actual dimensions or know if it would fit? Thanks

Hi Shane,

My guess is that you're seeing one set of dimensions for the subwoofer enclosure itself, and another set for the sub in its packaging.  Amazon, for example, lists two sets of dimensions for this system:  14.2" x 14.2" x 29.5", and 15.8" x 16.2" x 30.6".  The second set is listed along with shipping information, which is why I think it refers to the package size instead of the subwoofer itself.

Unfortunately, I don't have one of these units available to me right now, so I can't personally confirm the dimensions.  I'd installed quite a few of them, though, and I don't recall any serious problems getting them to fit in most trunks; they're actually fairly compact, for a dual 12" system.  I'd be surprised if you couldn't get it to fit in the trunk of your Saturn.
