Car Stereos: something wrong, radios work, stock radio

Question
My radio quit working and i decided to replace it with a pioneer. When I took the old stock radio out there were a few different wires than what was on the harness. There was also a tape wire that was bolted to the back of the stock radio, don't know what that could go to. And neither of the radios work. Will the black wire from the pioneer go to the tape wire and what could be the problem that isn't letting the radios work? Fuses are good. If at all, would I be able to get a diagram of what to do?

Answer
Anthony, yes the black wire should be connected to the tape wire.  That is the ground wire and there shouldn't be a ground wire on the wiring harness.  Every other wire should have a connection on the wiring harness.  Double check all wires, and try it again.  Hope this helps, Scott
