Car Stereos: 2003 Jaguar X-type amp, jaguar x type, salvage company

Just bought a used Jag, and the speakers are all muffled. I've determined that the amplifier is missing. Any ideas where I could find this amp in the aftermarket? If not, what general price range would I be looking at from Jaguar?

I would check out ebay first.  Someone should have one for sale on there.  If not, you may talk with a stereo shop and see if they can install an aftermarket amp that would probably be better than the factory one.  Also, you can goto LKQ online.  They are a nationwide salvage company and they either have one or can point you to one for little money.  If you were going to get a new one at the dealer, you would probably be looking at $400 just for the part, and $200 to install.  Hope this helps, Scott
