Car Stereos: Wire harness, pioneer dvd, wire harness

What kind of wiring harness do I need to use to connect a pioneer DVD head
unit to my2009 Pontiac g5? My local store says that my car is to new and
that I need to buy a wire harness online. What one supports XM onstar and
iPod ?

Supporting your current XM and iPod system is up to the new dvd head unit, not the wiring.  The correct harness should ensure that the connectivity remains, but that's it.

Metra sells a kit for your car that should work, although it's a bit pricey (north of $150).  You should be able to get it at most online retailers.  Try crutchfield.com.
