How do i fix a cd player that is not accepting my discs? It is a factory cd player in a 2004 chevy suburban and it keeps reading please check the disc.

Hi Vincent,

Sorry, but it sounds like your factory CD player has an internal defect.  I'm not a service technician, so I can't really give you an idea what might be required to get this fixed.  There aren't many independent repair shops that will work on OEM car audio equipment, especially the newer GM radios that are integrated with the vehicle's data bus system.  Your best option here is to contact a dealer's service department; if this is a common problem, they may be able to tell you how to fix it.  

Sorry I can't be more helpful.  If you decide to replace your factory deck with an after-market head unit, I can probably give you better answers.
