Car Stereos: Help connect amp and sub to computer..., rockford fosgate punch, computer sound card

Hi. Me and a couple of my neighbours are having bass compettion and i wanna blow them away, so when i turn it up there plates or glasses would fall off counter... can u help
I have a high def sound card built in.
I'm trying to connect a Rockford Fosgate punch p300-1 with a 12" alpine swr 1222d type r sub to computer. all i know is from computer sound card plug in audio jack to sound card then to amp. then what. How do i properly ground amp and power it. Amp needs remote wire to turn on...

Hi Mat.

Ok you are going to need a power supply, to power the amp up.you can use a regular car battery for this. the remote wire its the one that turns on and off the amplifier so you can conect this to the positive terminal on the battery and put a toggle on/off switch, and thats basically all you need plus some speaker wire, RCA jacks and conductor 8Gauge wire for the power and ground.
