Car Stereos: size subs for truck, dodge ram quad cab, ram quad cab

i am stuck on what size sub i should go with for my dodge ram quad cab i want to go 12's but keep getting told not to do it. can you give some advice please.

Hi Jay,

That's all about personal opinion.  How much space are you willing to give up for subwoofers?  How much room do you have?  What kind of volume and frequency are you aiming to hit with these things?  How much are you willing to spend?

It's all about what you want; nobody can answer these questions but you.  I've put 8 subwoofers in one pickup, so whether or not it's technically possible isn't an issue.
