Car Stereos: Frustrated w/ installing Pioneer!, 2002 chevy trailblazer, chevy trailblazer

I own a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer and just bought a Pioneer (DEH-p5900I) and I can't get it to work. I'm having problems finding a dash kit to fit correctly but my biggest problem is that the wiring harness that I bought (that says it is for a 02 trailblazer) does not connect to the vehicle, I'm not sure what to do. Please help.

There are actually 2 different adapters for your car based on whether or not it has the Bose and/or Onstar system or not.

If the harness you bought doesn't easily clip into the factory harness that went into the factory deck, you likely have the wrong one.  If you have the Bose system, you'll have to specifically buy the Bose harness and GM integration adapter.  If you don't, then you have to specifically buy the non-bose gm integration adapter & harness.
